I’m Bitter.

It’s not fair.

Roughly 440,000 babies are born every year addicted to at least one substance.

Nearly 8.4% of women smoke while pregnant.

1 in 100 babies have fetal alcohol syndrome.

In the United States, there are roughly 689,581 abortions every year.

As I’m writing this, there have been 1,125 abortions and counting in the United States, today.

43% of children live in low income families in the United States.

AlmostĀ 5 children die everyday as a result of abuse or neglect.

Approximately 45% of pregnancies in the United States are unplanned.

Roughly 50% of first-time mothers are overweight before and during their pregnancy.

Around 27% of children live in a one person, non-family member home.

About 13% of children live without their father.

I don’t do drugs.

I don’t smoke.

I don’t drink alcohol.

I have a good job.

I joined the Army so health insurance wouldn’t be an issue.

I exercise regularly.

I’m healthy.

You were wanted.

Your siblings were excited.

Your father was thrilled.

But you’re not here.

It’s not fair.

I’m bitter.
