To my girls – THANK YOU! To each one of you that has stepped through my doors. Or stepped foot in my drive way or garage when classes were there, or at Femmefit, or the park or back at the Painted Cowgirl. Thank you. Thank you to each of you that keep coming back week after week. Thank you to those that came and tried it out and decided it wasn’t your thing – I PRAY you have found your thing.
To my girls that came to conference…. I PRAY you left with a fuller heart, a revived sense of self, not just a feeling of belonging, but a KNOWING of belonging. To those that couldn’t make it, I WILL be having another one next year – so stayed tuned to snag those tickets – planning for a bigger venue with MORE to offer.

To everyone that helped – THANK YOU!
Liza – one of my most authentic friends. Thank you for bringing a friend to conference. Thank you for chauffeuring everyone so they didn’t have to weather the rainy cold any more than absolutely necessary. Thank you for always being real and willing to help. I love you.
Sarah – the food was BOMB. Need I say more?!?

The Mod Social – the photobooth MAY have been my FAVORITE part of the night! Seriously, ya’ll go rent the blow up booth for your next event!
Tammy – your calm, genuine energy is infectious. I heard several women saying how surprised they were with themselves that they could partake in your Yoga class. Thank you for making it accessible and welcoming to ALL!

Whitley – your voice is AHHHHHHMAAZING, almost as amazing as YOU! Thank you for your big heart and your big personality! I am drawn to people that are truly themselves and I SEE you doing the thang to get back to yourself. You’re doing God’s work with how you love people. Keep loving people, even when it’s hard, even when you get hurt. Love will always win. The video surprise of all the lovely things the people in my life had to say —- speechless – thank you! && for staying late to wash dishes – you da best.

Crystal – I had no clue what you would speak on when you told me you would be sharing your story, the amount of women that have come up to me since to say that they related to your story in some way is UNREAL. You are impacting lives. You are changing lives. Thank you for sharing and being VULNERABLE so that someone else may not feel so alone.

King City DJ – Thank you for keeping the party going! Thank you for staying to chat for a bit at the end, so glad you found value in the night as well. EVERYONE hit him up if you’re looking for a DJ!
Tiffany and Melissa (& Allison) at Frost Aesthetics – ya’ll KILLED it! The thoroughness you had with my girls and the care you took with those that utilized your services was impeccable. You REPRESENTED Frost so well!

Terry (& Melissa) -Thank you for always being willing to use your talents to show off mine. 😉 But SERIOUSLY, Terry so incredibly proud of what you have done with your business in the little amount of time that we’ve known each other. So PUMPED that you both found value in my testimony too. Keep pushing!
THANK YOU to every girl that shopped my new arrivals! Ya’ll don’t even understand what it does to my HEART to SEE you all in clothes from Body by LJA Boutique & Studio. Keep slaying!
To those that donated money so that SEVERAL women that otherwise would not have been able to attend, could – THANK YOU! Your donation was well spent, I PROMISE!
(If I forgot ANYONE that played a role, please know my HEART is so GRATEFUL for you and I will edit when my brain is fully functioning again. Lol)
Now, my turn…
My hour long TURN UP DANCE FITNESS PARTY was EVERYTHING! Ya’ll it was a PARTY! Pulling ya’ll on stage was probably my favorite part! Getting to SEE each of you work through the cold (quickly was not cold), work through the exhaustion, work through your insecurities and just leave it on the dance floor – that is what TURN UP is all about – you ladies are AMAZING! I hope you had as much fun as I did! & if not, I hope you liked my fit. 😉
When I coordinated this event, I knew I wanted to be the evening speaker – but I did not know what I wanted to speak about. I spent an afternoon out at the cabin, prior to conference to just type whatever came to heart. I didn’t share everything I typed that day – but it gave me a guideline to share. I hope it was as GOOD for your HEART as it was for mine.
As silly as it seems saying it, sharing my testimony about my relationship with my mom, made ME feel less alone. I did not even realize I had such feeling of loneliness… sharing (not just to my counselor – highly recommend Cris at Caring Counseling) brought LIGHT to that feeling and immediately made it DIMINISH. I’ve always known other people had experienced the other traumas I’ve dealt with in my life, but honestly, I was HOPEFUL I was the only one that experienced those nasty feelings of not being enough for someone that is suppose to love you unconditionally. It healed parts of my heart that I didn’t know needed healing. THANK YOU!
